The dog handlers and scout dogs attached to the Army’s Marauder Infantry from the WWII China-Burma-India theater. The volunteer force, nicknamed Merrill’s Marauders, executed skilled fighting tactics in the Burmese jungles to defeat the veteran soldiers of the Japanese 18th Division.
